Law firm Rosen has sued the developer of the problematic Cyberpunk 2077 game, CD Projekt RED. The plaintiffs are demanding compensation for losses incurred by investors after the release of the game.

A class action lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles federal court. Lawyers from Rosen say that more investors who have invested in CD Projekt securities in 2020 may join the lawsuit.

The plaintiffs believe that the developer misled investors by not reporting that Cyberpunk 2077 is almost unplayable on older Xbox or PlayStation consoles. The fact is that when the truth became known, investors suffered losses. The journalists recalled that after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt's American depositary receipts fell by 25%, and after the game was removed from the PlayStation store - by 16%.
