Lady Gaga spoke about the rape at age 19 on the Apple TV + Me You Can't See program. The singer admitted for the first time that the man who raped her was her producer, kept her locked up in the studio for months, impregnated her and then simply dropped her off at the corner of her parents' house.
The 35-year-old star has detailed about the violence in the Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey documentary series for Apple TV +. After Gaga, whose real name is Stephanie Joanne Angelina Germanotta, went to the hospital for treatment for physical distress years after the rape, she said that the repeated sensation of intense pain, turning into numbness, seemed familiar to her.
“I realized that it was the same pain I felt when the man who raped me left me pregnant at the corner of my parents' house because I was vomiting and vomiting. Because I was bullied. I was locked in the studio for several months. He threatened to burn my music if I didn't do what he wanted. He raped me, ”said Lady Gaga.
The singer says she suffered a "complete psychotic breakdown" after being raped. In recent years, Gaga has been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, which she says has developed as a result of violence, and fibromyalgia, a condition that causes pain throughout her body.
