Brent crude oil rose more than $ 85 per barrel

The price of Brent crude oil has become more expensive than $ 85 per barrel for the first time since October 2018. This became known from the data of the London stock exchange ICE .

On the morning of October 15, the price of Brent crude oil reached $ 85.1 per barrel. But after a few minutes, its value dropped below the $ 85 mark. At the same time, the price of WTI oil also increased - up to $ 82.13 per barrel.

It is assumed that the rise in prices for this fuel is taking place against the backdrop of the ongoing energy crisis in Europe and Asia, as well as a restrained increase in oil production by OPEC + countries.
