A Solid Build with One Weak Spot
In a recent video, JerryRigEverything put the Nintendo Switch 2 through a series of challenges typically reserved for smartphones. These included scratch tests, heat resistance, and flex tests focused on the updated Joy-Con 2 controllers.
The results were mostly positive. The console’s structure is solid, and the Joy-Con 2 controllers performed better than expected. Despite concerns over the use of thin plastic elements to secure the magnetic joysticks, the Joy-Cons held up under significant bending pressure. "If a large amount of force is applied, the Joy-Cons simply detach, which is actually a good thing," noted the YouTuber.
