Netflix got involved in a territorial scandal

The streaming service Netflix had to immediately remove from its air two episodes of the spy drama Pine Gap, the creators of which got involved in an international territorial scandal.

In particular, episodes with controversial content will no longer be shown in the Philippines, which were completely displeased when they saw in the aforementioned series a map used by China to indicate its territorial claims in the South China Sea. In this regard, the Philippine authorities have officially appealed to the leadership of "Netflix" with a demand to remove episodes, regarded as an attempt on the sovereignty of the state, from the local air.

Since yesterday evening, the second and third episodes of the Pine Gap series have become unavailable to Filipino Netflix users with the message that this was done "at the request of the government." In total, the Australian show consists of six episodes.
