The doctors behind the novel coronavirus vaccine suggest that by 2030, the world could also have cancer vaccines at its disposal.
At least 55-year-old Dr. Ugur Sahin and 53-year-old Dr. Ozlem Tureci are ready to talk about a vaccine aimed at certain cancers. We are talking about the spouses, who in 2008 established the company BioNTech, which subsequently created a vaccine against COVID-19 together with Pfizer.
The couple voiced their vision of the development of events in order to change the lives of a huge number of oncological patients for the better in an interview with BBC. The achievements of scientists obtained while working on a vaccine against coronavirus pneumonia are planned to be used in the development of a new drug.
