An investigation initiated by the Food and Drug Administration has shown that the iPhone 12 and Apple Watch 6 can be deadly for some users.
It turned out that such smartphones and smartwatches, which entered the global gadget market last year, can affect the operation of pacemakers, defibrillators and other devices. This is due to the strong magnetic field, which in some cases can endanger the user's life. More detailed results of the research are published by the journal "Heart Rhythm".
Back in January, Apple warned users about the need to keep the iPhone 12 and Apple Watch 6 at least fifteen centimeters away from these devices, including pacemakers, during use.
