Angelina Jolie, already known to the world as an actress, director and activist, decided to test her writing talents by creating a book for children with the human rights organization Amnesty International.
The book, Know Your Rights and Claim Them, was co-authored by Geraldine Van Bueren, one of the co-authors of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. According to Jolie, the book should allow children to learn about their basic rights, to learn how to fight and defend his innocence in matters of identity, justice, education, and others.
Today, the book hit the UK stores, and elsewhere in the world on it yet, you can pre-order. Angelina Jolie is also a special ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
