In the new documentary "Harry and Meghan", the Duke of Sussex made another sensational statement. The Prince has accused the British tabloid Daily Mail that the publications in it and the pressure of the press in general caused his wife Meghan Markle's miscarriage.

I believe my wife's miscarriage happened because of what the Daily Mail did. I am sure of this because I saw everything with my own eyes,” said Prince Harry.

We are talking about the drawn-out legal battle that the Dukes of Sussex began against the tabloid in 2019, when the Daily Mail published a personal letter to Meghan Markle to her father Thomas. According to Meghan herself, she had a miscarriage in July 2020, on the first morning at the Sussexes' new home in Santa Barbara.

After Harry's statement, the host asked him: "So, you are absolutely sure that Meghan's miscarriage was provoked by this?". To which the prince replied: “Of course not. But given the stress it caused, the lack of sleep, and the short duration of the pregnancy, I can tell that the miscarriage was caused by what they were trying to do to her."

Lawyer for the Dukes of Sussex Jenny Afia confirmed that Meghan was completely absorbed in this case.

Meghan and I were constantly in touch, she wrote to me at three in the morning, because she could not sleep because of the scandal around this story. It was very traumatic for her,” said Afia.

Recall that Meghan Markle publicly spoke about her miscarriage on the pages of the New York Times in November 2020.

At this point, I was changing Archie’s diaper. I remember that I sang a lullaby to him, and then I just fell to the floor with my son in my arms. Holding my first child close to me, I knew that I had lost my second child, ”Meghan wrote emotionally.

Yesterday it became known that a new film about the life of the Dukes of Sussex has become the largest documentary project on the Netflix streaming platform. The first three episodes of Harry & Meghan, which premiered on December 8, amassed 81.55 million hours watched in their first week of release.
